Andreja Pejic Makes Her Post-Transition Runway Debut

The model walked Giles’ Fall 2015 show alongside Erin O’Connor and Kendall Jenner.
Model Andreja Pejic already has a number of impressive runway accolades to her name, from closing Jean Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture show to taking turns at Jeremy Scott and DKNY. There’s no doubt that her latest booking is a bit special: Her appearance on Giles’ catwalk today in London marks her first time on the runway since her sexual reassignment surgery earlier this year. Pejic was the fourth model out, sandwiched between Edie Campbell and Grace Hartzel, wearing a black satin cape with a bow neck and high, ruffled collar. While this marks a new beginning for the model, this is by no means the last we’ll be seeing of her—she has a role in Sofia Coppola’s upcoming The Little Mermaid remake and, most likely, will make appearances on more runways this season.
